Mother’s Day is almost here and what better idea then to create a Mother’s Day craft with your child. The important women in your life and your child’s life will enjoy the handmade gift.
Last year for Mother’s Day my husband came up with the idea of making a picture frame made from popsicle sticks. Although a classic popsicle stick craft, it was special because it was made from the people I love.
My son has many important women in his life so he made multiple picture frames at a time. He thought this was just great! His awesome Daddy took the time and bonded together over a fun craft. (I feel lucky to have such a thoughtful husband!!) E felt proud as he handed out his handmade gift to his family members on Mothers Day.
A Mother’s Day Craft Brings Smiles to the People We Love!
This was a fun and fairly simple project that my husband did with my son. The picture frames came out so cute! I adored them and they have been on my fridge ever since! (FYI the frame above, I made specially for the tutorial video). If you have your child make this craft for grandmothers too, they will just eat-it-up. There’s nothing like having your son or grandsons picture incorporated into a gift. The picture frame can hang up on a fridge or other magnetic surface. That way, the colorful frame can be viewed throughout the year.
